Outstanding !! </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">The social-political aspects that the movie covers touches your hearts and delivers its message with great flair; the monologue at the climax on Democracy is ought to give you goosebumps with SRK looking straight into the camera acknowledged by a thunderous applause from the audience, last I felt so moved by a speech was "Sattar (70) Minute" from "Chak De! India" back in 2007. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Anirudh's music disappoints to the core, when you have stage set for such a blockbuster there is no scope of going ordinary for the soundtrack- all songs are forgettable and urges you to take a loo break except the "Jawan Theme " and to some extent " Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya" which rolls at the end credits. There was such huge expectations from the music and it just doesn't stood upto that.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Although the background score by Anirudh remarkable and its what keeps on spinning in your head hours after you leave the cinema hall, it's that powerful and takes the action sequences and high points of the movie to an altogether another level. Sixer! Straight out of the park !</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #333333;">Director Atlee being at the helm of affairs there are flavors of South Indian Cinema which takes the movie at the backseat, for instance, the chemistry between Shah Rukh and Nayanthara doesn't quite hit the mark. </span><span style="color: #333333;">Their love story unfolds with such swiftness that it might raise some eyebrows (Come on! is it that simple and one meeting-next-day marriage?), and Nayanthara's </span><span style="color: #333333;">character, despite being a police officer, doesn't seem particularly curious about delving into her </span><span style="color: #333333;">fiancé's background? Why? </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Nevertheless it's a Cinematic Masterpiece with hardly any dull moments and mesmerizing visuals that are full paisa-vasool and has a huge repeat value. Jawan is a big screen spectacle, a ride that is worth every penny you spend. It is ought to shatter all Box Office records and has Blockbuster written all over it.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Stop Everything you are doing right now and go and experience this Bollywood Extravaganza of action and emotion !</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: medium;">There is a thought provoking scene in the movie where Akshay Kumar ( playing Lord Shiva) tells Pankaj Tripathi pointing towards a mother feeding her baby on a railway station- he says “ What do you see there, ek ‘Nirvastra Maa’ ya ek ‘bhookha bachcha’.. ‘ Har wo kaam jo chupa ke kiya jaaye Galat Nahi hota’..Writer and Director Amit <span style="text-align: justify;">Rai makes it abundantly clear that he’s going to let his characters talk in a manner that is understandable to everyone leave apart anything subtle or nuanced.</span></span></p><p></p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">I went into the movie with all sorts of doubt, previous OMG happened in 2012 and India today of 2023 is vastly different, also It took me a while to accept where the movie was heading <span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; background-color: white; text-size-adjust: 100%;">to the fact that this was a film which was taking up such Bold issues and start a movement which seldom any mainstream commercial cinema has attempted till date– talking up the vital importance of sex education amongst school-going children, and even more importantly, taking the shame away from such discussions, so seriously that it would get into severely explanatory mode with all the audacity and break the shackles between between the 2 generations of parents and teenager’s. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Pankaj Tripathi as Kanti is the show stealer with his innocence and knocks it out of the park every time he is on the screen. Akhsay Kumar isn't the highlight but is brilliant in his portrayal and appears here and there to give directions to his bhakt - " Rakh Vishwas, Tu Hai Shiv Ka Das ". Yami Gautam is menacing as a shark in the courtroom and her character is portrayed in a way that you connect with the points </span><span style="background-color: transparent; text-align: left;">she puts forth by nodding your head while maintaining an equal balance between both the sides and never going over the top.</span></div></span></span><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; background-color: white; text-size-adjust: 100%;"><span style="text-align: justify;">India is highly populated, which means that people are partaking in intercourse irrespective of their religious beliefs. However, when it comes to talking about every aspect of it in an educational way, it is treated as something taboo. There is one scene where Kanti puts forth that when it comes to name the reproductive organs of male/female's we tend to hide the actual name and use instead 'Nunni', 'Punni', 'Shame Shame' .. it makes one question themselves ..Why?</span></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #3e3e3e;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #3e3e3e;">I know there is a part of our population who would thrash the movie for being so Direct and Bold on things we shy away to discuss in our families and i</span><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; background-color: white; text-size-adjust: 100%;">t's ironic and pains my heart that the film is granted an A certificate when the </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #3e3e3e;">crackling</span><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; background-color: white; text-size-adjust: 100%;"> film must be a necessary watch for kids and teenagers</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #3e3e3e;"> which questions the lack of faith ignorant adults repose in our young people as they explore the mysteries of their bodies with natural curiosity and frankness. It's an eye opener and </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #3e3e3e;">the need of the hour </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #3e3e3e;">for the nation with the audacity with which it deals such a sensitive subject which no other mainstream director would even dare to think of.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #3e3e3e;">Go and Watch this brave attempt which puts a question mark on our so-called society stigma and norms of being silent on such issues, although the movie </span><span style="background-color: white;">feels disjointed and a bit too stretched towards the climax and the courtroom scenes sometimes fall flat with the pauses between dialogues being far too long. But all said and done this has the power to start a movement on 'Sex Education' if not today then certainly few years down the lane.</span></span></p>Mitesh Sarafhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11656723377300734477noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-526636314518052186.post-61213001551566991102023-08-08T19:51:00.008-07:002023-08-08T19:52:17.013-07:00Ghoomer Movie title song review<p>Amit Trivedi has had a silent past few years in Bollywood whilst he was established as the next A.R.Rahman back in 2009..</p><p>His music never grabs immediate attention unlike Pritam who caters to the masses, #ghoomertitletrack is on the same lines which at the very first hear will sound quite ordinary but as you dwell deep into it you realise how artistically the song has been composed keeping in mind the theme and crux of the movie. </p><p>Next sports anthem?? Anyone??</p>Mitesh Sarafhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11656723377300734477noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-526636314518052186.post-85937103579791104992023-08-07T09:08:00.000-07:002023-08-07T09:08:23.031-07:00Gadar 2- Movie-My synopsis pre-release<p>There is some nice buzz around #gadar2 that a storm is waiting to explode at the box-office on the shoulders of #patriotrism #antipakistan #independenceday and a long weekend.</p><p>Considering the high-volume patriotic drama that it promises to offer, it is possible that Gadar2:The Katha Continues will do as well — maybe even better — than the original aiming at the single screens and #sunnydeol #paisavasool lines like 2 decades before. But the India in which the latter was released is very different from the India of today.</p><p> Back then, it was possible for #Gadar, to bask in the success of loud #jingoism and #nationalistic packaging and its core, a love story in which a man is willing to leave behind his #mitti and #mazhab to be with the woman he loves.. but now the young “Gen-Z” wants a sensible cinema, they want something out of the box, something creative with brush of strokes that are artistically planned and executed practically. </p><p>2023 will not accept #sunnydeol uprooting the handpump in an outburst, too clichéd considering the era of cinema we live in. The Director #AnilSharma sense of cinema is outdated now to say the least, I read him quoting<span style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(66, 66, 66); color: #424242; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> "When people asked me how can it be possible, I told them, 'When Lakshman needed sanjeevani (herb) in Ramayan, Hanuman picked up the entire mountain.' Tara Singh may not be Hanuman but he can uproot a hand pump. We believe (in Hanuman's deeds) as we are emotionally involved. It's the films' most nuanced portrayal of masculinity, his character utters, " Hunar Ka koi gender nahi hota" and if you connect with the thought, it hits really hard deep down. <div><br /></div><div>This is the most 'Ranveer Singh' Ranveer Singh could ever be if at all, he's everything one would expect him to be in a Karan Johar Film, the ' Hellllloo Bebz, this side Rocky Randhawa ! Ranveer proves there's no limit to his range and his infectious energy, you just can't put a pause on what his talent could do with scripts like these.</div><div><br /></div><div>Alia Bhatt is as graceful as she could be in all the vibrant, neon colors chiffon saree's and has tremendously matured from the Shanaya of Student Of The Year to Rani here, notice the Kjo style intro of Rani with the background music playing a spin off on " Mere Sapno Ki Rani" .. WoW</div><div><br /></div><div>I loved the part where Ranveer must unlearn his Punjabi entitled upbringing and transform from a brat to a role sharing Gen-Z guy who performs Kathak and goes lingerie shopping ( again a very powerful scene with a great message ) with her English Speaking mom who is said to be the family's Shashi Tharoor who says Global Positioning System instead of GPS ! Crazy stuff..</div><div><br /></div><div>Karan here does a Raju Hirani in the second half, the emotional sequences infused with a funny line and action underneath a social message that is an eye opener and makes one think and put a question mark on the so called society standards we have set and live in ( read patriarchy, misogyny, cancel culture, male dominant families). He brings his trademark Bollywood-ness and mixes it so well with old Bollywood nostalgia- "Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar" or "Aaj Mausam Bada Beimaan Hai"..</div><div><br /></div><div>Karan Johar's extravagant vision is fantastically supported by the flamboyance of designer Manish Malhotra and stylist Eka Lakhani..clearly no one in the industry justifies Bollywood like they do.</div><div><br /></div><div>Agree at some point it feels a bit exaggerated and so overly melodramatic but one must also not forget that it's coming from the stable of Karan Johar who is known for his stereotype Bollywood style from the days of Kuch Kuch Hota hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum.</div><div><div><br /></div><div>Special mention to the unreleased Sonu Nigam-Shilpa Rao track in the climax that will make you a shed a tear or one for sure and brace yourself for the ever lost Shahid Mallya song in the post credits, although Tum Kya Mile and What Jhumka! have already stormed the charts and hearts of music lovers !</div><div><br /></div></div><div>Go and laugh your heart and intestines out through this glitzy glamour cinematic extravaganza. At close to 3 hours, this may seemed a tad bit overstretched but all said and done this is what our mainstream Bollywood movies are all about. </div><div>My advice- Don't go by the uptight cynical pseudo-intellectual reviews if you love your Bollywood cinema and respect all the hardwork that each and every artist has put in to bring together a masterpiece.</div><div><br /></div><div>-Mitesh Saraf</div><div><br /></div>Mitesh Sarafhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11656723377300734477noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-526636314518052186.post-36355574184749277452023-01-26T02:51:00.022-08:002023-01-26T05:30:00.980-08:00Pathaan- My View Point ! Jan-2023- Movie Review<p>Remember Siddharth Anand's last 2 ventures- " Bang Bang "(2014) and " War "(2019), mix of action-style-good looks-hotness-chiselled six pack abs body-fabulous music, <b>Pathaan</b> lands straight away in that very genre with lots of Boom Boom and Bam Bam.</p>
<p>John Abraham has never looked so sexy and rich as here and he walks hand in hand with the maestro SRK star power. Deepika Padukone oomph’s up the hotness quotient to another level with some stellar looks and dance moves in "Besharam Rang"- the only song in the movie which is a great change as far as masala entertainers are concerned.</p>
<p>The Good- Super Vfx with Hollywood class action stuff, no forced love angles, no mushy love tracks, no kisses here and there, no cheesy lines, the dialogues are the real star with some solid punch lines that deserves an applause every time. A brilliant post interval sequence with our very own "Tiger" - The Salman Khan and a super chemistry between both of them.</p>
<p>The bad- Keep your brains at home storyline and treatment, some death defying mission impossible's which they made it look like mickey mouse stuff, some unnecessary over the top chase sequences and forcefully induced deshbhakti.</p>
<p>Overall, a good paisa wasool popcorn munching nail biting entertainer without a dull moment in it. Blockbuster material!!</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-My80Lx75I6Y/V_HR-s2vz2I/AAAAAAAAC5I/QHEGt5Zfs0EWfr-_yw5BaWQK8PGBxbUSwCLcB/s1600/ms-dhoni-the-untold-story-poster.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-My80Lx75I6Y/V_HR-s2vz2I/AAAAAAAAC5I/QHEGt5Zfs0EWfr-_yw5BaWQK8PGBxbUSwCLcB/s640/ms-dhoni-the-untold-story-poster.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">There is a scene
in the movie when M.S.Dhoni (played exceptionally by Sushant Singh Rajput) is
being informed by his friends about his selection in the Indian Team whilst he
was in the midst of a Badminton match and asked them to let him finish the
rally first and didn’t reacted to this Big Good news until the point was over,
this short scene had many layers beneath it, the dedication (badminton here),
the humbleness, the simplicity. The same personality can be seen when his
friend comes to meet him at the hotel after he is the captain of Indian Cricket
Team and mocks him that today also he is acting to be talking on the phone just
to make a fool out of him reminding him of a instance of his TTE days, its
impeccable to see how calmly and patiently Dhoni handles that moment without
getting this to his ego and agree to his friends remark and then when he talks
about the way that girl was dressed who helped him to reach the room, he says:
<i>'Haa Hum Dekhte Hai, Karte Hai Kuch Bhaiya'. </i></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Neeraj Pandey (Direction, Story, Screenplay) has a certain
trademark style where he invests patiently in long scenes and let the heavy
background music and character speaks instead of mushy dialogues. For instance,
just before interval we see MSD frustrated with his TTE job while he sits on a
platform amidst the rain, suddenly a train comes, it stops, a door opens and
then he can hear the <b><i>"Dhoni.. Dhoni.. Dhoni.."</i></b> chant in his mind and
then the train starts to depart, he thinks for 5 seconds, then rush to the
train and enters that door. This was a very powerful scene where he chooses his
gut feeling at that time while quitting the TTE job, he identified the door of
opportunity and before it was too late, he grabbed that it with both hands.
That's what happens in real life also, Luck as defined by Mr.Harsha Bhogle is
nothing but preparation and recognition (of opportunity).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Preparation: The movie depicts the school life of Dhoni where its
commendable to see how he manages his three hours exam in two and half hours
and rush to the railway station, board a train and then play the tournament,
this is what it takes to be successful, this is the amount of hard work and
dedication required for someone to achieve big in life. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Cricket is not just a sport but it’s a Religion in our country, it
was highly emotional to relive the 2011 world cup victory in the climax, no one
can forget the contribution of Maahi in that match, his instinct as soon as he
sees Muttiah Murlidharan at the bowling end, his brave decision to come up
before Yuvraj at such big moment which could have gone anywhere, he seized that
moment with his performance, raised his game when it was needed to and that is
the quality of a great sportsman who is well prepared physically and mentally,
identifies the right opportunity and hits the ball out of the ground! Feel
lucky to be born in an era where a Helicopter shot was invented!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Calibri","sans-serif"; font-size: 14.0pt; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;"> </span><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Bollywood Music has changed a lot over last few years; EDM/club
numbers have dominated the music industry with some non-sensical lyrics. 2015
revived the magic of melodies and offered various lyrically rich numbers that
made peace with our soul although there was nothing groundbreaking stuff but
still there were compositions which melted hearts.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Here is my list of some of the better songs to come
out in 2015, not all compositions gathered the commercial success which they
deserved but definitely these are worth a hear!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">1. Bezubaan (Piku): </span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"> Composer,
singer, lyricist - Anupam Roy - made his dignified debut in Bollywood with this
soundtrack. This composition is not your usual commercial bollywood music
albeit it's like a breezy sunset evening with a hot cup of tea and your
thoughtful imaginative world, a slow build up that grows on you, something that
gives your philosophical thought process wings. A special mention for the
in-depth lyrics (<i>Nange Paanv Daudi Aankhen Meri) </i>and the
gorgeous arrangements, especially when <i>Sarod </i>is heard at
01:53 and then goes solo from 03:50 to 04:30, what a gorgeous amalgamation of
classical and western arrangements, pure musical bliss! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">2. Aayat (Bajirao Mastani)</span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">: Remember 'Laal
Ishq' from 'Ram-Leela', this composition takes that legacy one notch higher. It
starts off (and ends too) on a ghazal'ish <i>alaap </i>with classical
instruments in the backdrop elegantly arranged and orchestrated, Arijit Singh
joins in and pierces your heart at first go, what with the interlude at 2
minutes with gorgeous <i>tabla </i>and <i>Qawwali </i>beautifully
interwoven around a poetry that justifies that Love needs no boundaries, no
religion, no reason, in fact Love is a religion itself. I don't remember
any composition in a long time that kept me on loop like this gem from
Bhansali!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">3. Agar Tum Saath Ho (Tamasha): </span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">As a soundtrack <i>'Tamasha' </i>was
not at par with A.R.Rahman and Imtiaz Ali previous ventures but the songs
justified the Director's vision. This composition </span><span style="background: white; color: #222222; font-family: "Calibri","sans-serif"; font-size: 14.0pt; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">takes your breath away with the innocent charm
that it carries, the extraordinary overlapping effect where the renditions of
Arijit Singh goes at never heard before vocal level and an ultra low octave at
the same time, quite innovative. This is one of those serene pieces from
Rahman that is going to stuck in your heart and mind for long time.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><b><span style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">4. Humnava
(Hamari Adhuri Kahani ): </span></b><span style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Although the song lands in the familiar trademark territory of Mithoon</span><span style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"> but the presence of Papon imparts a refreshing aura
where the melody captivates you and tugs at your heartstrings. Melodically
intoxicating!</span></span><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">5. Jeena Jeena (Badlapur)</span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">: Sachin-Jigar and
Atif Aslam makes a deadly combination and hardly disappoints. Guitar strums
dominates the song with some painful lyrics that makes you hit the 'Repeat'
mode straightaway. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">6.Kinna Sona (Bhaag Johnny)</span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">: Sung by Sunil
Kamath, this is not the usual-melodious-Mithoon, in fact Mithoon revisits the
old world <i>Sufi </i>charm with this one, the same magic that he
unleashed with <i>'Maula Mere Maula' (Anwar-2007). </i>Give this one
a try; it will mesmerize your musical imagination!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">7. Sapna Jahan (Brothers)</span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">: An engaging melody
with some terrific arrangements (especially the second interlude and the use
of <i>tabla</i>), add to that magnetic charm of Sonu Nigam, sprinkle some
sublime renditions by Neeti Mohan and some beautiful lyrics by Amitabh
Bhattacharya, there you have, a composition that leaves you in trance, that
takes you through a journey where you discover the beautiful feeling of love, a
feeling that is the most beautiful gift of God!</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">8. Moh Moh Ke Dhaage (Dum Laga Ke Haisha)</span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">: Anu Malik surprised
everyone with this classical composition that rides high on Papon's pretentious
singing (what a classically trained textured voice!) and some fabulous
orchestra lead by flute and harmonium. What a spellbinding, peaceful work by
all the artists!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">9. Main Hoon Hu Hero Tera (Hero)</span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">: Amaal Malik became
a household name this year with several hits in his bag, if not for the melody,
definitely <i>Sooraj Dooba Hai (Roy)</i> would have been on top of my
list but this soft romantic number touches heart, be it the simple yet
effective lyrics or saccharine filled vocals of Armaan Malik, everything
creates a soothing aura that makes you feel the warmth of love.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

composition by Ankit Tiwari ruled the first quarter of 2015 with his trademark
auto tuned lazy vocals, a soaring melody and some wonderful arrangements, not
to forget the haunting whistle part.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">As far as innovation is concerned Amit Trivedi’s <i>‘Bombay Velvet ’</i> was a killer of a jazzy
soundtrack that quenched the listeners looking for something<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Hatke</i>; also I loved how
beautifully Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy orchestrated<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Girls

choose my best melodious heart touching soundtrack, it would be <i>‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ </i>where each and
every composition was soul stirring and came with a strong repeat value. Sadly
the movie bombed at the box office and as a result the soundtrack didn’t
received the appreciation that it deserved. Anyways, let’s see what’s the trend
of music in 2016 and what these magicians has in store for us.</span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">"Its like a creative painting on the canvas where you will
either appreciate the in-depth of every artistic brush stroke used or you will
see it as a mere sheet of paper with several colours spilled on it."<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Remember, when you
were a small kid, you did silly things, things that excited you, things that
made you curious and all that was done without any motive, without any fear,
nobody told you to do things, if you liked something you did it..That’s the
basic notion that came to my mind when Ranbir Kapoor talks to his family in the
climax and described his<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Bachpan'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>as the only thing that praised
him, only thing that said '<i>Hey! You are Special</i>' and how we let that
phase die when we grow up!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">There are several
moments in the movie that are heart wrenching, one of the most amazing of them
comes post interval where Deepika confronts Ranbir and seeks forgiveness upon
realising that she has tickled the most complex emotional part of him which is followed
by a brilliant composition ( Agar Tum Saath Ho). No one in this industry
justifies a scene with a song with so much grace and perfection like Imtiaz
Ali, such that the overall result is so honest and genuine that it touches your
soul. Music has always been an important aspect of his ventures and same goes
here where it’s used as a narrative to enhance the inherent drama of the
situation,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Matargashti,
Safarnama,</i> <i>Tu Koi Aur Hai<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>are
the soul of the movie and depicts various moods in the narrative.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">The story unfolds
in a non linear way where we see the transformation of Ved as to how he is
fascinated by mythological stories and weaves his childhood imagining them at
every step, people around him are merely characters from some or the other
stories he had heard before, then we see him as a person who has killed his
wildness, his passion, his stories and has now become blunt to be a participant
in a race whose cause is undefined, to be a part of the society where people
are competing and running for financial security without giving a second
thought as to who they are from the inside and what they want from life as a
result he becomes a person who works nine to five, is well behaved, even when
it comes to sex. There is one small scene where Ved talks to an Autorikshaw driver
who explains how he wanted to be a singer but couldn’t due to monetary reasons,
very simply stated:<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Andar Se
Kuch Aur Hoon lekin Bahar se Majboor Hoon'.</i><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Later on we see a
split personality of Ved who gets shattered when Tara comes back and reminds
him that in trying to belong he has lost his own identity somewhere, he has
forgotten who he is, it’s not that simple as it takes the undoing of his entire
life's experience and the energy. There are several scenes where we see the
angst and outburst of Ved in between his normal conversations, note how he
switches emotions when he confronts Tara (after somewhat called as breakup) at
her home or when he freaked out his boss, that’s a psychotic behaviour one
would associate with Jordon of Rockstar, Ranbir stands out in these several
scenes where Deepika scores big with her expressive eyes and vibrant energy. Imtiaz Ali belongs to that rare breed of Directors that brings the best out of
each artist they are working with.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Tamasha grows on
you like a vintage wine, something that stays with you for long once you move
out of the cinema, something that needs to be explored more and more after you
watch it again, the proceedings at that time would become an experience, an
experience that is very seldom felt in Bollywood may be due to fear of niche
segment that such genre focuses on, a specific reason why certain audience have
thrashed this badly. Honestly, I don’t remember any movie in the last two
decades which affected me at this high level and left me overwhelmed and in
awe of every artist involved in it.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">No matter at what
stage of your life you are, no matter what your are doing at present with your
life, you can always change the END, you can fulfil your dreams, you can create
your myth, your own story!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
Remember 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', that was Sooraj Barjatya 16 years
back where he conquered hearts with basic human goodness instilled in a family
melodrama quite convincingly, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo runs on the same line, add
to it some English speaking characters with too many apples ( i Phone and i
Pad) and Haldiram's. It’s a familiar tale that has gone on to become rusty and
outdated and doesn’t look convincing in 2015, how did Vijay Singh survived the
accident is still a mystery to me!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
Brotherhood, forgiveness, family re-union, these are all familiar
known territories that doesn't work anymore, that doesn't have the power to
make one cry anymore, this is something that would have worked a decade ago and
to make things worse the weak script is bombarded with some average
compositions one after another where only Jalte Diye and Bachpan Kaha leaves an
impact up to an extent.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
It fails to evoke emotions for the Royal King and his family, it
doesn’t have moments where you pray for a happy ending for the family, the
dialogues are strictly below average, the humour is missing, the characters are
never fleshed out adequately. The charisma and star power of Salman Khan is the
only saviour where he carries the Bajrangi (Bajrangi Bhaijaan) charm forward;
he is in terrific form indeed. <o:p></o:p></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">There are thunderous expectations
from the soundtrack of</span><span class="apple-converted-space" style="font-family: inherit;"> </span><b style="font-family: inherit;"><i>"Tamasha"</i></b><span style="font-family: inherit;">,
after all when Director Imtiaz Ali collaborates with the maestro A.R.Rahman
with some visionary stuff from lyricist Irshad Kamil; the musical world seems
to be a magician's den where everything works in slow motion mode. Music has
always been a vital part of Imtiaz Ali directorial ventures and no one in the
industry justifies and picturises a composition like he does, case in point</span><span class="apple-converted-space" style="font-family: inherit;"> </span><i style="font-family: inherit;">'Main Kya Hoon'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i><span style="font-family: inherit;">from</span><span class="apple-converted-space" style="font-family: inherit;"> </span><i style="font-family: inherit;">'Love Aaj Kal' </i><span style="font-family: inherit;">followed
by</span><span class="apple-converted-space" style="font-family: inherit;"> </span><i style="font-family: inherit;">'Jo Bhi Main'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i><span style="font-family: inherit;">from</span><span class="apple-converted-space" style="font-family: inherit;"> </span><i style="font-family: inherit;">'Rockstar'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i><span style="font-family: inherit;"> to name a few. With 9
compositions including a remix and an instrumental, let’s dwell deep inside the
imaginative world of these artists! </span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><i>'Ranbir Kapoor
in Tamasha is someone who is enchanted by stories, has grown up hearing them
and expresses himself by performing them'- Imtiaz Ali</i><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Matargashti"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>as the name suggests is craziness at its peak with some
insane narrative lyrics by Irshad Kamil that defines the madness and
throws light on the character of Ranbir Kapoor. Percussions dominates the
proceedings here except the sweet little harmonica portion from 2:31 to 2:37.
Mohit Chauhan is infectious as always and goes a pitch higher in both the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>anatara’s</i> which gives a déjà-vu
feeling of 'Sadda Haq' from 'Rockstar' (from 1:50 to 2:08 and then again from
2:43 to 3:00) albeit only for a short duration as one recollects that both
compositions has nothing similar and are poles apart. The highlight of the song
is the tribute to Dev Anand where the composition suddenly takes a retro u-turn
with violins coming in and Mohit Chauhan efficiently switches gears, notice how
elegantly the song shifts from the retro part to the '<i>tang tang dinga dang
tang'</i>, quite brilliant stuff.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">A feeling of pain
expressed in a celebratory way with a<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Punjabi
tadka<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>or we can call it 'The
Happy Sad Song'..<b><i>"Heer Toh Badi Sad Hai"</i></b><i> </i>lands
somewhere around the territory of <i>'Katiya Karun' </i>from <i>'Rockstar' </i>considering
the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Punjabi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>base where Mika Singh does
well aptly supported by Nakash Aziz for the chorus and the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Aaye Haaye Oye Hoye'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>part in between that gives it a<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Qawwali<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>touch.<b><i> </i></b>The
second interlude has some classic<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>jugalbandi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>of<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Desi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>string arrangements that
makes one tap their feet and applaud at the same time. Irshad Kamil's Hinglish
verse depicts the sadness in a funny way<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>"Loo
(Toilet) mein jaana Mushkil Hai, Baji Padi Hai Band Heer Ki, Ab Iss Band Pe
Naache Kaun, Ya Woh Utter Mad Hai, Heer Toh Badi Sad Hai''.</i><o:p></o:p></span></div>

notes starts off <b><i>"Agar Tum Saath Ho"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>which stands tall with
Rahman's very own<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Aye
Hairathe'</i> from<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Guru'
(2006). </i>Alka Yagnik brings on the innocent effortless charm with her
renditions sounding a bit like Lata Mangeshkar; one can sense that she is the
perfect choice for this number considering the simplicity it
demands. Arijit Singh joins in after 2 minutes and takes your breath away,
the compositions flows like poetry, notice the extraordinary overlapping effect
where his renditions goes at never heard before vocal level and an ultra low
octave at the same time, what with the gorgeous<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>tabla<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>at 4:25. This is one of those
piece of art from Rahman that is going to stuck in your heart and mind for
long, by far my 'Song of 2015'!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">'<i>Music in the
film has been used as a narrative to enhance the inherent drama of the
situation without dialogue'- Imtiaz Ali.</i><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The word<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'drama'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>here is what the next song <b><i>"Wat
Wat Wat"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is all
about which takes some time to adjust to the unusual arrangements where
one of Rahman's favourite instrument <i>Shehnai<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>takes centre stage throughout,
especially during the long interludes, these portions somewhat took me back to<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'The Dichotomy Of Fame'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>from<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Rockstar'</i>, just the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Shehnai<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>and nothing else. Sashwat Singh
does most of the vocals in the <i>Mukhda </i>where Arijit Singh is in
his elements with the <i>anatara’s</i>. The funny <i>Bhojpuri<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>lyrics with a crazy fusion of
various rhythms give the composition a unique edge in terms of creativity
and style.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Surprisingly we
have one more version <b><i>"Wat Wat Wat-Vengeance Mix"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>where the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Punjabi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>element has been replaced with
some cool techno-trance EDM stuff. If the original one was pure<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Desi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>this is pumped up western stuff
with synth replacing the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Shehnai. </i><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><i>'We took six
months to mix this song, when I asked myself, how do I take this song further?
I knew the answer, it had to be sung by Sukhwinder Singh'. - A.R.Rahman</i><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Chale
Kahani"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is for the theatre act with several
mythological stories interwoven around it, brace yourself for a grandiose
visual treat. Flute starts off pleasantly with the energetic vocals of
Sukhwinder Singh and then some exquisite semi classical orchestra. Haricharan
and Haripriya joins in for a soft part later, this is one rare composition in
Bollywood where so much is happening, it has so much to offer in these five minutes,
as Imtiaz Ali said, this song is indeed an <i>'Achievement'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>in itself!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Safarnama"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is about a man's search for his love, Lucky Ali amazing
vocals instantly connects and transports the listeners in a spiritual dreamy
world where one can embark on a journey within. The long arrangements reaches a
new high after the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Mukhda</i> with
Mandolin strums and acoustic (read gorgeous) guitar chord progression and how
can one forget the accordion, notice how it is used throughout the composition
and the impact is even more captivating in between the phrases, for instance from
00:35 to 00:38 etc, take a bow Mr.Rahman!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Devotional Folk
type<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>alaaps<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>creates confusion at the start
of <b><i>"Parade De La Bastille"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>but one minute into the song,
the gear changes and there you go; lots of bagpipes, mandolins, violins,
accordion, percussions and some<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Matargashti', </i>which
is justified as both of these songs are composed for the scenario when both the
lead characters are in Corsica. This is one of those rare instrumental pieces
that wins you over and finds a place in your playlist.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">

not that simple because it takes the undoing of entire life's experience to get
in touch with yourself and the wild energy.'- Imtiaz Ali</i><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Tu Koi
Aur Hai"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is undoubtedly the soul of the movie
rendered evocatively by A.R.Rahman himself. It builds up the<span class="apple-converted-space"><i> </i></span>journey of '<i>self
discovery'</i><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>slowly with
minimum orchestra, then goes a opera-ish way supported by Alma Ferovic and
Arjun Chandy, ending on a hypnotic take on<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Safarnama<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>with violins and chorus that
evokes out a lot of emotions and leaves one speechless! A masterstroke to end
the soundtrack!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">To conclude, the
soundtrack leaves the listeners spellbound, the sheer richness of the
orchestra, the in-depth lyrics, and each and every composition. <i>Tamasha </i>may
not be at par with previous golden soundtracks of A.R.Rahman that he has given
in the past 2 decades but it’s by far the best effort put in by a musician and
lyricist to justify what the director is trying to convey, to justify his philosophical
thought process behind each composition, this is where we can say that music is
the greatest form of art that exists, it’s like magic that needs the right
stage and situation where the magicians can weave the magical web without any limitations. To give a rating for such art would be injustice to the arists involved. </span><span style="font-family: inherit;">Period.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

names are always associated with some good chartbuster tunes.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

Telugu Hit for<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Daddy Mummy”</i></b>
with the lyrics being lifted from the Tamil Version. MM Mansi vocals are
energetic and remind of Mamta Sharma at places due to the heavy texture, DSP
aptly supports her with the rap portions in between, though what makes this
number catchy and foot tapping is the pulsating techno arrangements that stays
with the listeners for long. Overall this one may enjoy a short stint amongst
the party lovers.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Arko Mukherjee
last ost <i>'Jism 2' </i>is one of my favourites, the song <i>'Abhi
Abhi' </i>has the power to melt hearts even after three years, now when he
re-creates Sajid-Wajid's and Sonu Nigam's 'Deewana' iconic number <b><i>"Iss
Qadar Pyar Hai"</i></b>, one expects something gorgeous and innovative.
The melody and hook line is kept the same with a welcome change in the lyrics
by Faaiz Anwar, Ankit Tiwari croons this one with all heart albeit the auto
tuned effect which somewhat limits the vocal talent and emotional connect, also
it ends absurdly and quickly after the second<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Antara</i>.<i> </i>A
re-hash version that could have touched new heights only results as a good
number and nothing extraordinary.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Yo Yo Honey
Singh's <b><i>"Aankhon Aankhon"</i></b> suffers from the
same old pulsating music (minus the rap) throughout which lands in the same old
familiar territory that we have heard in the past so many times, <i>'Angreji
Beat' (Cocktail)<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>to be very
specific. The hindi-punjabi lyrics though are quite catchy and the hook line
becomes addictive after a while, luckily the song doesn't go ear-defying over
the top in the arrangements and maintains a decent rhythm. Although the
composition lacks innovation and offers nothing fresh but who cares this is going
to be loved by Honey Singh fan club and is to be played in discotheque's for
some time to come.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

template and refrain from innovative imagination..That’s where<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Kinna Sona"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>wins you over with the same
magical charm. Sunil Kamath textured vocals carries the Sufi-pop flavour
brilliantly and that too with a classical touch, watch out for his high notes
which reminds of the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab. The lyrics by
Amitabh Verma oozes love and emotions with every word, his work flows like a
soothing poetry alongside the fabulous tabla beats and mesmerize the listeners,
make no mistake, this one has is here to stay and has in it to enjoy a long
shelf life. Keep this one on loop and enjoy the peaceful romantic ambience that
it creates!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Mithoon brings the
immensely talented Rahul Vaidya for the last track<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Meri Zindagi"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>and to much surprise he seems
to put in a lot of effort in his renditions which makes him sound unusual. This
one is a sad situational number that misses the chord on the emotional level
and ends the soundtrack on an average note.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">

lovers. Overall: Enjoyable!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Director Kabir Khan's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Bajrangi Bhaijaan</i> shattered
many records and won accolades and hearts everywhere, Pritam composed some nice
situational numbers which had grown post movie release, <b><i>"Phantom"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>on the other hand is a
thriller where the focus shifts to background music rather than the soundtrack,
as a result he offers six tracks with 3 originals and 3 reprise versions, let’s
check them out!</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Afghan Jalebi (Ya Baba)"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is one of those massy numbers that catches attention
instantly, a folksy tune with an Arabic touch add to that some pulsating music
crafted around some crazy insane writing by Amitabh Bhattacharya, result:
Chartbuster! The arrangements and the overall fun element is where one gets a
sense of déjàvu and lands in a territory where Pritam's very own '<i>Saree Ke
Fall Sa</i>' (R..Rajkumar) meets 'Pungi' (Agent Vinod). Debutant Syed Asrar
Shah energy is impressive; the chorus part<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Khawaja
Ji Ke Paas Teri' </i>is certainly the highlight of the composition. The
other version<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Afghan
Jalebi (Film Version)"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is
the same as the original one and one can't find any slightest of difference
between both of them, wonder why it has been credited to another singer Akhtar
Channal Zahri.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Akhtar Channal Zahri sings the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Afghan
Jalebi (Dumbek Version)"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>and
certainly this one is the best of all the four versions. Akhtar's renditions
are raw, and are more inclined towards the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Sufi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>genre, notice the elegant dictions
when he sings<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Afghan
Jelabi..Mashooq Ferabi'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>(the
'e' here is intentional, hear it to know why). The use of Dumbek and<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>tabla<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>makes this version completely
different and yes the use of string instruments in between is not to be missed.
Keep this one on Repeat Mode! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">And then we have Pritam's favourite Nakash Aziz (<i>Saree Ke Fall
Sa)</i> for<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Ya
Baba (Fitna Farebi)"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>which
goes same as the original with some less energetic albeit more filmy renditions
by Nakash except for the last one minute where we some welcome change in the
lyrics but nothing much special here from Pritam this time.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Saware"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is a soothing melodious number which rides
smoothly on Arijit Singh vocals. The whole composition has a story flowing with
it where the second paragraph is very well written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the
chorus part has a trance feeling to it and its where Kabir Khan makes his presence
felt, expect this one to be heard at various junctures in the movie. This is
one song that should grow immensely post movie release.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Nachda"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is the surprise element of the soundtrack
where Shahid Mallya takes centre stage with his intense renditions beautifully
weaved around some sensational lyrics by Kausar Munir which has a lot of depth
and meaning to it, giving the word '<i>Nachda'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>an altogether different
meaning..Superb. As for the arrangements, we get to hear some electric guitar
riffs are the start and then the string instruments takes hold of the
proceedings and the overall result is an eccentric amalgamation of rock flavour
and Arabic elements. Both the interludes are heavily arranged and its one of
those compositions where everything from the lyrics to the vocals to the
arrangements are top notch. Pritam at his very best!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Phantom"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is one of those soundtracks from Pritam
where one was not sure what's in store for them and that's where the soundtrack
strikes gold. Kabir Khan has a knack of using the songs beautifully alongside
the narrative, take for instance<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Zindagi'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>and<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Tu Jo Mila'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>in<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>recently.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Nachda'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>and<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Saware'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>to grow post movie release where<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Afghan Jalebi'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>satiates the masses where Dumbek
Version stands out among the four!</span></div>

Bollywood is on a roll, first <i>Bajrangi Bhaijaan </i>and now <i>Drishyam, </i>which discovers the forte of intelligent cinema that is long lost in the league of Item Numbers and masala pot boilers. What makes this movie more interesting is the plot and screenplay, one knows little about the story and its the sheer joy of discovering what next? Now what?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i3wYXVNUeZQ/VceoVy_4znI/AAAAAAAACHA/54uu48oLUJA/s1600/Drishyam_movie_first_look.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i3wYXVNUeZQ/VceoVy_4znI/AAAAAAAACHA/54uu48oLUJA/s400/Drishyam_movie_first_look.png" width="284" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The character build up of Ajay Devgan is very strong, a common man who loves watching movies on his small television in his office every night, who eats at an ordinary restaurant and couldnt clear his fourth class in school. It is this very modesty that makes one connect with him instantly and relate with the proceedings. When a situation arrives due to an unfortunate circumstance then we see how a common man can go to any extent to save his family drawing a thin line between wrong and right. We get a sense of his practical knowledge that he has gained from watching cinema at the very start and his entire strategy is plotted around ideas he has gathered from the movies.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Its an experience where one feels sympathetic for both the main characters- Ajay Devgan and the terrific Tabu. The movie keeps one hooked at the edge of their seats with the ongoing tension and makes one applaud for the intelligentsia that Ajay Devgan unfolds.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It was a great feeling when the audience applauded the terrific climax scene, the suspense element, which makes a point that India Cinema and viewers are not hungry of senseless Item number and Rom-Com's. At a duration of 2 hours and 43 minutes, it keeps you on your toes and thinking.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
A masterpiece that is not be missed! </div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rzF7ih_BNz4/Va_uyPnaZpI/AAAAAAAACGg/UzPb-dn0Ogc/s1600/salman-bajrangi-759b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="221" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rzF7ih_BNz4/Va_uyPnaZpI/AAAAAAAACGg/UzPb-dn0Ogc/s400/salman-bajrangi-759b.jpg" width="400" /></a><span style="font-family: inherit;">How often in Bollywood we come across a movie that carries an
emotional vibe throughout and brings tears every now and then! Bajrangi
Bhaijaan is not over the top usual SALMAN EID SPECIAL he has been known for
years, it’s rather very simple and has its heart at the right place. The
character build up of Pawan/Salman is commendable as an innocent soft/pure
hearted person and it’s that strong build up of his character that makes the
upcoming proceeding real and convincing.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Seven year old
Debutant Harshaali Malhotra melts your heart with her innocent smile and one
can feel her pain through her expressive eyes. The movie is all about Humanity,
it’s about being a good human being keeping aside all religions/nationality and
how beautifully it depicts that at each point in life we meet such people who
are ready to offer help and restore people's faith in Humanity.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Another highlight
is the character played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, another innocent good for
nothing reporter who is kind hearted and helps the girl without a second
thought, it also shows the importance of media and social network in today's
era if used in a right thoughtful way. Nawazuddin is a natural artist and fits
into every character in an effortless way that is spectacular, notice how
innocently he asks about Mahabharata..'<i>Mahabharata...Picture Hai?</i>' then
a 10 second pause and then<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Nayi
Picture Hai'? </i><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">My favourite
moment was in the climax when Salman while crossing the border enacts like
Shahida/Munni by nodding his head and waving his one hand on seeing Kareena on
the other side while she screams his name, a very strong impactful scene which
portrays the impact the little girl had on him, the kind of strong bond that
they shared, the kind of high emotional relationship they shared, that one
small gesture says it all..WoW!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Last time I was so
emotionally involved and moved by a movie throughout was Taare Zameen Par.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is by far the best Salman Khan movie in recent years; it has
the power to squeeze a lump out of your throat and not only tears when it comes
to the climax. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Life is all about Humanity;
it’s all about helping others...Lesson learnt!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

not, after all its a Mohit Suri venture who brings out the best from the stable

him who made Arijit Singh and Ankit Tiwari a household name with<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Aashiqui 2'</i><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>and<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Ek

had swayed and stormed the music lovers with some chartbuster soundtracks

very high where Jeet <span style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: white; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial;">Gannguli</span>,

<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Jeet <span style="background: white;">Gannguli </span>starts of
the proceedings with the title track <b><i>"Hamari Adhuri Kahaani”<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>with soothing piano and
acoustic guitar notes in tandem with a haunting violin (played by Suresh
Valvani) and some beautifully arranged interludes, the flute piece at the end
deserves a special mention. THE Arijit Singh instils his soul in the
composition and makes one feel the pain where Rashmi Singh and Virag Mishra
brings forth some agonising work with the pen. The composition with duration of
6:38 never has a dull moment and the best part comes in form of the high
pitched renditions and the arrangements. It forms the crux of the films
narrative and should be heard at several crucial junctures in the movie. It is
one of those compositions that will grow immensely post the movie
release. <span style="background: white;">Surprisingly
Jeet Gannguli comes behind the mike for <b>"Hamari Adhuri Kahani (Encore)" </b>when
everyone was cheering for Mohammad Irfan. This one is no different from
the original one by Arijit from the music to the lyrics to the arrangements,
everything remains the same. Jeet does a good job as a singer with his soft and
easy on ears vocals but to be honest his voice falters and sounds a bit odd in
the high pitched notes, may be some other established singer would have evoked
more emotions out of this intense composition.</span><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">

<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Mithoon's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Humnava"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>lands in the familiar
territory of<b><i> </i></b>his previous compositions with his
trademark unplugged style and can challenge the composers very own<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Banjaara' (Ek Villain)<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>being the overall situational feel
of this one quite similar to it.<i> </i>The composition flows like a
soothing poetry with the textured vocals of Papon beautifully interwoven around
Sayeed Quadri deep rooted lyrics that strikes a chord instantly. A special
mention to the singer Papon who has a classical touch in his renditions
(consider the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>alaap<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>portions here in the first
interlude) and at the same time has a fresh and youthful charm which makes me
wonder why he is not used often in Bollywood since he made his debut with<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Jiyein Kyu' (Dum Maaro Dum-2011)<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>followed by the super gorgeous<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Kyon' (Barfi!)<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>and more recently the sublime<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage' (Dum Laga Ke
Haisha)<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>to name a few.
Neverthless, it’s the highlight of the soundtrack and is here to rule the
charts for months to come keep this one on loop and feel the love!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><i>'You meet someone special, fall in love and before you know it,
they become your world'. </i>Lyricist Kunaal Vermaa<b><i> </i></b>describes
this beautiful feeling of being in love with<i> <b>"Hasi"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></b></i>(use of the word<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Hasi'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>works pretty well)<b><i> </i></b>and
the end result is intoxicating. Composed and sung by debutant Ami Mishra,
this melodious outing has a soft-rock vibe (very similar to Pakistani rock
bands) attached to it courtesy the drum beats and the extended climax which
offers electric guitar riffs for the last one minute. Close to four
minutes, the song keeps one wanting for more and while one waits to see it rise
in popularity in days to come, <span style="background: white;">one can be
sure that this is one song that has in it to enjoy a long shelf life.</span><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">An unplugged
reprise version <b><i>"Hasi (Female)" </i></b>spellbound
the listeners where Shreya Ghoshal's sugar coated renditions oozes
love and romance with each and every word and transports the listeners in a
dream world of pure love. The best thing about this version is the complete
change of lyrics from the original one which is always a welcome change, also
one can’t resist the magical flute part in the only interlude which leaves the
listener in trance and stand still mode..Speechless! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i><span style="background: white;">"Ye Kaisi
Jagah"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></span></i></b><span style="background: white;">composed by Jeet Gannguli
is a situational composition that has a nice simple melody flowing with it.
Rashmi Singh and Virag Mishra bring forth the emotions and feelings of a
married woman who has fallen for someone else and is in a state of dilemma;
certainly the lyrics are the highlight of this composition. Debutant Deepali
Sathe creates a soothing ambience with her renditions and Jeet Gannguli can be
heard for some great classical <i>alaap<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>portions
in between that generate a 'wow' factor. A good number that would look great
alongside the narration.</span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background: white;">To sum up,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Hamari Adhuri Kahani"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is by far the best soundtrack
of 2015 that portrays intense love and touches the soul. Each song has a story
flowing with it and is an integral part of the film's narrative. Although this
one is not at par with<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Ek

movie to hit the big screen, one can be sure that the compositions will be
loved by the masses especially those who like their music to be soft, simple
and full of romance. Whilst the title track will become a rage post the movie
release,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Humnava'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>and<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Hasi'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>will catch instant attention.</span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

acclaimed <i>Luck By Chance</i><i> </i>back in 2007. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy last work <i>Kill Dill</i><i> </i>produced some good numbers but failed
to impress the listeners. <b><i>Dil Dhadakne Do</i></b> boasts of ensemble cast of
Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah
which alone sky shoots the expectations of the listeners. The soundtrack
promises to take one on a sparkling entertaining ride that caters to the youth,
with five originals and Javed Akhtar at the helm of lyricist, stakes are very
high from all perspectives!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The title track <b><i>"Dil Dhadakne Do”</i></b> is something which
one doesn’t associates with the musical team of SEL. The pulsating synth rock
tune with some gorgeous guitar riffs works well where Priyanka Chopra adds a
certain seductive element with her voice. Farhan Akhtar does well but his voice
sounds a bit strange/odd in the high notes. The lyrics are carefree and suit
the situation well, the video is well shot and while Anil Kapoor dances to the
voice of Farhan Akhtar, one wonders if different singers should have been
chosen for each different character! Neverthless, the composition will grow
with time and starts off the soundtrack on a good note.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Some vibrant bass guitar riffs sets the mood for a
classic rock number..<b><i>"Pehli Baar"</i></b><b><i> </i></b>is a trademark S-E-L stuff and
straightaway the arrangement takes you to <i>'Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein'</i><i> </i>from <i>'ZNMD'</i>. The extended <i>Mukhda</i> and the interludes<i> </i>with some zingy electric guitar
riffs unleashes a magical aura where Siddharth Mahadevan does really well
especially for the high pitched vociferous renditions in the hook line and
Sukriti Kakkar evokes the right emotions with her soothing stylish vocals. The
song has a story flowing with it and is more than just a romantic number which
tells you to follow your heart (DIL). Keep this one on Repeat mode..Rocking!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Shankar Ehsaan Loy are in their elements with <b><i>"Gallan Goodiyan"</i></b>, an addictive <i>Desi</i><i> </i>celebration number with a <i>Punjabi</i><i> </i>flavour that is insanely catchy, there is so much happening for the
whole five minutes, notice the <i>Punjabi</i> arrangements in the second interlude from 2:32 to 3:25..zestful.
Sukhwinder Singh is at his usual best, Yashita Sharma does well, Manish Kumar
Tipu does the funny <i>'Hello Hello'</i><i> </i>part and makes one smile, Shankar Mahadevan and Farhan Akhtar also joins
in with their short parts. It’s a fun dance number that is going to be a rage
in coming days.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Girls Like To Swing",</i></b><b><i> </i></b>picturised on Anushka
Sharma, seems to come straight out of Amit Trivedi stable, more precisely
his recent jazzy <i>Bombay Velvett. </i>The trumpet and drums
at the very onset makes one brace for a outrageous jazzy number where
Sunidhi Chauhan carves magic with her dazzling renditions backed up stylishly
by the chorus and some lively lyrics by Javed Akhtar. The composition is high
on arrangements and despite being a <i>Jazz</i><i> </i>forte, this one caters to the masses
and makes up for a high spirited foot tapping number that is here to rule
the charts. One word: Splendiferous..Go Swing with S-E-L this season.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The only slow situational number in the soundtrack <b><i>"Phir Bhi Yeh Zindagi"</i></b><b><i> </i></b>has as many as five singers and the
hook line has a hangover of S-E-L previous compositions. Divya Kumar starts off
well and excels with his raw voice joined by <i>'Uff Teri Adaa' (Karthik Calling Karthik) </i>girl Alyssa Mendonsa alongside Sapna Pathak, Farhan Akhtar and Vishal
Dadlani. The lyrics are ordinary and could have been more inspiring given the
genre the the song belongs to, neverthless the soft-rock number is a pre climax
material that will take some to settle down and would grow post the movie
release.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Overall, <b><i>Dil Dhadakne Do</i></b><b><i> </i></b>is an impressive youthful soundtrack that is full of energetic dance
numbers which are high on arrangements and fun to watch. <i>Pehli Baar</i><i> </i>and <i>Gallan Goodiyan</i><i> </i>are chartbusters in the making and will enjoy few weeks in the top 10
segment. Worth your time and money, grab this one right now!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

he ropes in the 'Most wanted' combination of Arijit Singh and Palak Muchhal but
to no avail, the music gives a massive heard before feel, especially the
acoustic guitar intro and the riffs in the interlude which reminds of some
pop/rock numbers that we have grown up listening. Neverthless the song has a
nice groove to it and would be loved by a certain segment of listeners who
likes their music to be simple and catchy. It's for the promotional campaign
with Kareena Kapoor making a cameo and fares well for that matter.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Yo Yo Honey Singh

fusion of Rap and<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Mujra</i>.
Neha Kakkar does well for the repetitive two lines and at places does an Ila
Arun. The typical Honey Singh pulsating music plays throughout and the rap by
Honey Singh is the highlight of the song not to mention the double meaning
lyrics. Overall, the song is going to be a hit amongst the Yo Yo Honey Singh
fans and to be honest this one is far better than his other EDM party anthems
with one and four bottles stuff!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">

guitar strums crafts a soothing ambience for Chirantan Bhatt's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Coffee Peetey Peetey"</i></b>,
a breezy hummable romantic number that is easy on the ears where debutant Dev
Negi and Paroma Das Gupta adds freshness with their voice along with some
average lyrics. An ordinary composition that will act as filler in the movie.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

never an important aspect for this movie except the Honey Singh number which
should find an interesting place in the narration. Obviously an action packed
hard hitting cinema works well without any speed breakers and fillers. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

only to an extent and many would </span><span style="font-family: inherit;">cl</span><span style="font-family: inherit;">aim to solve the mystery even before our

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Vishesh Films and Emraan Hashmi; add to that the two "Most
Wanted" artists of the music industry at present Ankit Tiwari and Arijit
Singh..One expects some melodious high quality numbers from the soundtrack of<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b>Mr.X<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></b>which boasts of 5 original and 1
reprise versions. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Tu Jo Hai"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>(composed and sung by Ankit Tiwari) sits
comfortably somewhere between Ankit's very own 'Dil Darbadar' (P.K) and 'Tu Hai
Ki Nai' (Roy). As usual it starts of an unplugged note with Ankit's auto tuned
vocals, wonder why such a powerful voice with such a great scale (consider the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>alaaps<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>portions of 'Sun Raha Hai Na Tu')
needs to be auto tuned! Both the interludes have some nice guitar riffs and
surprisingly the sad-romantic lyrics by Mohnish Raza comes as the high point of
this number which otherwise offers nothing much new on the musical front.
Neverthless it’s going to be a HIT and is here to Top the Charts for some weeks
to come.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Jeet Ganguly comes up with the title song<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Mr.X"</i></b>, a
situational theme number that defines the character of Emraan Hashmi and has a
certain anxious zing attached to it where Mili Nair is splendid with her high
pitched renditions and hang on...we also have Mr.Mahesh Bhatt making his
singing debut for the hook line which irritates at first few hears but settles
down eventually. Lyrics by Rashmi Singh are pretty average, overall a
functional number that should work well alongside the narration. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Ankit Tiwari returns back with<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Saad
Shukrana"</i></b><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>another
melodious number that starts off in his typical template style from where he
left the first song 'Tu Jo Hai' but it suddenly shifts gear after one minute as
one hear slow rock strums in the first interlude which leads up to two
beautiful paragraphs written by Manoj Shukla that makes this one a clear winner
although the overall feel of this one still lands in the same comfort zone of
the musician.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Alif Se"; </i></b>a fast pulsating techno number composed by Ankit Tiwari and
written by Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay, this may surprise many listeners who
associates only romantic/sad numbers with the composers name, mostly those who
haven’t heard 'Tequila Wakila' from Samraat & Co. The interludes here,
especially from 1:12 to 1: 30, somehow does a 'Kamli' (Dhoom 3) and are quite
similar with the arrangements used in that song, coming to the vocals, one can
again hear the auto tuned effect being used for both Neeti Mohan and Ankit
Tiwari but somehow it does justice to the song and synchronises well due to its
techno feel, its time the guy stops auto tuning his lazy styled vocals in romantic
numbers that limits the creativity of his voice. Overall, the composition
sounds fresh and breaks the shackles for Ankit Tiwari, though the fate of the
song now depends upon how it’s being picturised and used in the movie.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The best of the lot<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Teri
Khushboo"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>by Jeet
Ganguly ends the soundtrack on an eccentric note. One gets a déjà at the very
onset (prelude) with the Guitar and Piano arrangements being fairly similar to
'Tu Hi Haqeeqat' (Tum Mile) until Arijit Singh joins in and transports the
listeners into an aura of his own beautifully woven around some agonising
lyrics that makes one feel the pain. Jeet Ganguly uses minimum arrangements and
the focus is mostly on the lyrics and the renditions. This one is a pre-climax
material and defines a crucial emotional moment in the movie. Like all other
previous compositions of Jeet Ganguly and Arijit Singh, this one is here to
rule the charts but will take some time to grow...Gorgeous!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Palak Muchhal replaces Arijit for<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Teri Khushboo-Female"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>where her voice strikes a
chord instantly and her voice as usual reminds me of Shreya Ghoshal and is
really hard to differentiate the vocals of these two hugely talented artists.
The song here is almost the same as the previous one, although a bit change in
the lyrics would have provided variety and freshness, still it makes up for a
good version that emerges as a winner.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Mr.X"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is a usual Bhatt Camp soundtrack with some
melodious numbers, an energetic track and then a sad heart wrenching number and
probably that is what one expects from the soundtrack of Vishesh Films. 'Tu Jo
Hai' despite being criticised is hard to keep away and will become popular
neverthless where 'Teri Khushboo' is undoubtedly 'THE SONG' of the soundtrack
and will grow with time.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">There is Nana Patekar..There is Irffan Khan and then there is
Nawazuddin Siddiqui!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KFNxjhMB3Gg/VOrzIeX7irI/AAAAAAAAB2I/F3CGI589PB8/s1600/bp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KFNxjhMB3Gg/VOrzIeX7irI/AAAAAAAAB2I/F3CGI589PB8/s1600/bp.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Sriram Raghavan last outing 'Agent Vinod' was quite a
disappointment..<b><i>Badlapur<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>makes
up for that, Big time. It's more of a psychological thriller with some real
brutal, cruel moments that have the power to break down the emotional quotient
of each and everyone in the audience. Right from the first frame with a single shot scene of the bank robbery and further proceedings, this very scene reminds that this was the same director who beautifully did the single shot song 'Raabta' from Agent Vinod, the only good thing about the movie!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The most important aspect for me was the brilliant detailed characterisation,
from Raghu ( Varun Dhawan ), Laik ( Nawazuddin Siddiqui ) to the detective
Ashwini Kalsekar ( special mention to her intro scene with Dhawan at her home)
to the policeman Kumud Mishra to all the 4 ladies ( Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam,
Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte ), each one is well defined and leaves a strong
impact to the films narrative, it also helps from the audience perspective to
understand their behaviour. Varun as Raghu makes one feel the pain and anger
where Siddiqui takes away the cherry and stuns with each and every scene with
his dark humour..what is interesting here is the fact that both Raghu and Laik
are given the same screen space and the director makes the audience evoke same
feelings for both the characters when the movie inch towards the unexpected
climax, which almost removes the line of Black and White..The Hero and the
Villain..Brilliant!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">My most favourite scene of all scenes of Siddiqui is the one when
he is caught with a girl in her home and he acts as a Delivery Boy of a food
joint in seconds or when he taunts a prisoner repeatedly..what a spontaneous
and natural actor he is with a down to earth style of his own.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Although the movie gets a bit stretched towards the second half
but the climax makes up for it with a strong message regarding revenge and
violence..Worth your every penny!</span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hEK-NbqY2iA/VN-mQh2H7qI/AAAAAAAAB0Y/uTCBkS323dQ/s1600/17ps57ba3sjo7wdb.D.0.Jacqueline-Fernandez-Arjun-Rampal-Movie-ROY-Still.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hEK-NbqY2iA/VN-mQh2H7qI/AAAAAAAAB0Y/uTCBkS323dQ/s1600/17ps57ba3sjo7wdb.D.0.Jacqueline-Fernandez-Arjun-Rampal-Movie-ROY-Still.jpg" height="251" width="400" /></a><span style="font-family: inherit;">So first of all, the debutant director Vikramjit Singh deserves an
applaud for trying out something new, something out of the box, something very unusual
considering the pot boilers Masala 'Tevars' we are shown with no 'Jackson' and
lots of action..But...but...he puts a very big foot wrong in promoting the
movie as a commercially viable massy affair with some chartbuster songs,
seriously what was the need of adding a curiosity and raising the expectation
of a normal audience to be served a nail biting thriller with a suspense
element munching the caramel ( my fav flavour) popcorn? Why not make it clear
in Bold Underlined that it’s not for the masses and caters to a very niche
segment of audience and that too who are mostly related to film making, take for
instance the movie 'Dhobi Ghaat'.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">There is a lot of newness creative element in the film, especially
the way the storytelling moves forward till the intermission with some good
background score. The idea of 'Reel' meets 'Real' works and in some portions it
somewhat gives a déjà of the movie Shabd. Rampal does well with his cigarette
and hat and typewriter and ohh yes with his fabulous voice and body language
also, Ranbir just sleepwalks every scene expressionless and makes one
think 'Tu Hai Ki Nahi', Jacqueline only adds to the glamour quotient. </span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">In one scene, Rampal is
told by Jacqueline that writers persona</span><span style="font-family: inherit;">lity is judged by their work and that’s
what the movie is all about, a Director whose real life events transforms into
his Reel life and he realises this very fact at the very end when Ranbir tells him
that both the stories should end the same way..But...but...what happened post
interval, like the character of Kabir (Rampal), Vikramjit got out of ideas and
thoughts that he added numerous pauses and drama that wasnt required at all,
its like the plot was only written till interval and got streched, it would
have been gorgeous if he would have edited it 40 minutes short with less of
drama and more of Art.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mZKL7_i4AsY/VN-mQr78jkI/AAAAAAAAB0c/plyXpTRVMIg/s1600/Roy-Motion-Poster.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mZKL7_i4AsY/VN-mQr78jkI/AAAAAAAAB0c/plyXpTRVMIg/s1600/Roy-Motion-Poster.jpg" height="260" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Still, <b><i>Roy</i></b> deserves a watch for its First Half alone and the superhit
soundtrack, the second half is sure to give a headache and will bore you enough
to pull your hair and your partner's and their partner's. </span><span style="font-family: inherit;">The audience in the theatre gave sarcasm
full of clap when the movie ended and said what a fabulous movie, not their
fault!</span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Contrary to the Desi name.. <b><i>"India Waale"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is dominated by techno
arrangements. It's a perfect pre-climax material and is "THE" dance
number of the movie with some apt lyrics that would make much more sense in the
movie. For the vocals, a massive combination of Vishal Dadlani, K.K, Shankar
Mahadevan and Neeti Mohan makes sure that the overall outcome is super awesome,
although the composition offers nothing new but it would be a Hit neverthless.
Moving on..<b><i>"India Waale-Electronic"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>makes no sense for its
inclusion in the soundtrack and lacks innovation and acts as a mere filler
as everything else remains exactly the same with some added western
arrangements.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

melodious-soulful stamp all over it and is <i>Desi-Romantic<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>to the core. Shreya Ghoshal's
honey dipped vocals melts your heart and then there is Arijit Singh who creates
an irresistible aura of his own alongside Irshad Kamil's dreamy lyrics that
beautifully defines the state of mind of two people who are about to fall in
love with each other. A special mention to the folk-ish chorus part from
3.00 to 3.14 and the continuous use of<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Dhols<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>throughout the song, overall this

choice for Rohit Shetty's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Singham

and even an artist like Sukhwinder Singh has nothing much to do here. As of
now, this seems an introductory song for Abhishek Bachchan and may look good on
screen, as an audio, it deserves a SKIP!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Composed by Dr.Zeus..<b><i>"Lovely"</i></b> is what
Deepika Padukone has been waiting for past so many years, an introductory song
for the character of Mohini in the movie, make no mistake, it will shatter all
the previous records of 'Munni', 'Sheila' and 'Chikini Chameli' and will create
a havoc in single screens. The arrangements are innovative and a mix bag which
starts off with Arabic, some Hip-Hop, some rap portions, some <i>Punjabi Dhols</i><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>and on top of that the seductive,
tempting voice of Kanika Kapoor ( 'Baby Doll' fame ) supported magnificently by
Ravindra Upadhyay, Miraya Varma and Fateh..ahhh..Delicious! Dr.Zeus <b><i>"Kamlee"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>with the same set of singers
minus the Arabic feel plus some<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Punjabi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>folk theme/lyrics in both the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>anatara's</i>, it's always
interesting to hear some quite good variations in reprise versions like this.<i> </i>Pretty
good move..Chartbuster!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">A Mashup of three songs <b><i>"World Dance Medley"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>starts off with Neeti Mohan, a
short sad slow version of Manwa Laage, what is interesting though is the
monologue by Shahrukh Khan followed by an innovative take on<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'India Waale'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>which ignites the patriotism in
one's heart and sounds even better than the original one.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Up next<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Nonsense
Ki Night"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is made
for a dance sequence in the movie and is a fun take on English with some
nonsense lyrics, one needs to listen carefully to realize that the whole song
is a translation of various Hindi Idioms to English, quite creative. Mika Singh
is at his usual best, expect some mad funny picturisation. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Dance Like a Chammiya"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is very reminiscent of composers very own<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Sheila Ki Jawaani'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>considering the overall treatment
especially the second interlude with Vishal Dadlani's rap with lots of<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Dhols.</i><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>It's the usual item number element
where Sunidhi Chauhan yet again makes us believe that she is born for such
genre and does full justice to this addictive number, the lyrics are clichéd
but yet again the picturisation may bring laurels for this one. Wait for the
video.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><i>Punjabi<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>Techno-Hip-Hop arrangements at the very
onset sets the mood for<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Sharabi";</i></b> which
is more inclined towards pop genre but we are slowly accepting this trend
in Bollywood soundtracks which started with<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Cocktail'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>two years ago. Manj Musik sings
this one in his trademark high pitched style supported well by Nindy Kaur for
the short rap but Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani hardly makes their
presence felt as far as vocals are concerned. The lyrics caters well to the
Honey-Singh-Generation weaved around drinking and party, as a result
it's going to be a hit in the discotheques and a favourite amongst
the party lovers this new year!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Pretentious Electric Guitar strums starts off John Stewart's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"The Heist -
Instrumental"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>which
is would be played in the background during the heist, honestly, the marvellous
guitar riffs and keyboard reminded me off the background score of Ocean's
series..Need I say more? Go hear this and give yourself an eargasm!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">To conclude,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Happy
New Year"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>caters to
the masses and is very situational with some compositions that would work well
alongside the narration of the movie. Not the usual V-S soundtrack that one
would expect<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'</i>the
beautiful<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Manwa Laage'.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>Neverthless<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Lovely'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>and '<i>Dance Like Chammiya</i>'
will gather lots of whistling and hooting,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Sharabi'</i>
would be heard in full bass volume in cars with extra woofers and<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'India Waale'<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>would become a huge hit with more than month when the movie hits the silver screen. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Vishal-Shekhar and youth-friendly-vibrant romantic/dance numbers
are synonymous to each other and they have justified it time and again from the
past one and a half decade. 2014 has been a quiet year so far with only </span>‘Hasee Toh Phasee'<span style="font-family: inherit;"> to their name which won hearts and accolades with some soulful
numbers..Siddharth Raj Anand (Director) has always been consistent with V-S for
all his directorial ventures and their combination has resulted in some
chartbuster numbers..</span><b style="font-family: inherit;"><i>"Bang Bang"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b><span style="font-family: inherit;">rides high on expectations
with Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif in the lead pair that has created a certain
buzz around it, with four originals and one trademark Shekhar Ravjiani reprise
version, let's go for a ride!</span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Techno arrangements with the trademark V-S "thump" add
to that some dazzling screen presence of Hrithik..<b><i>"Tu Meri"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is insanely catchy with Vishal
Dadlani's vociferous vocals and some ordinary lyrics. The composition embarks a
lot of power but ends too soon and keeps one wanting for more, the choreography
is sparkling and adds a lot of mass appeal to the composition. One word-
Chartbuster!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The vocals of Ash King is like a breath of fresh air where
now-a-days almost every soulful number has Arijit Singh written over it..<b><i>"Meherbaan"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>is the highlight of the
soundtrack and is addictive right from the first note and shifts gears during
the five minutes of its duration. Shilpa Rao starts off smoothly but it's Ash
King with his elegant charming voice that takes the composition to an
altogether different stature, add to that Shekhar's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>Punjabi tadka<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>from 1.09 to 1.27 and Anvita Dutt
Guptan (lyricist) poetic fairy tale imagination..Mesmerising! Remember 'Bin
Tere - Reprise' from 'I Hate Luv Storys' back in 2010 where Shekhar Ravjiani
swept the listeners off their feet..<b><i>"Meherbaan Reprise"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>rephrase the same feeling and
cast a spell on the listeners, what with some extraordinary acoustic guitar
arrangements (Sanjoy Das and Keba Jeremiah) and magical vocals of Shekhar who
brings in his own style which makes it very different from the original
number..Keep this one of Repeat Mode! Gorgeous.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Up next<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Uff"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>gives a déjà-vu feeling of
many V-S previous compositions and sounds more of a rehash version, the amazing
part here is the female vocalist Harshdeep Kaur, best known for her Sufi
renditions who sounds amazingly beautiful and adds a certain element of
cuteness in the composition, Benny Dayal is usual with his short part. There is
a mix of Western and Desi arrangements with some guitar, harmonium, keyboards,
piano and many more, notice the drums part towards the end. The lyric by Anvita
Dutt are innovative, matches the frequency of today's generation and connects
instantly. It's nothing what we haven't heard from the stable of V-S before but
still it has the potential to grow post the movie release.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The retro-disco arrangements at the very onset develops curiosity
and adds a certain zing to the title track<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><i>"Bang
Bang"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>which has in
it to become a rage once the video is unleashed with the charismatic 'Michael
Jackson' aka Hrithik Roshan, one will get to know why I referred Michael
Jackson here once the video is online. Benny Dayal voice is tailor made for
such genre and Neeti Mohan surprises with her low-techno notes though the song
completely belongs to Benny, the hook line<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>'Bang
Bang'</i> is addictive and the extended last minute sees some classy
arrangements; make no mistake this is going to be one crazy eye catchy dance
number. Boom!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>"Bang Bang"<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b>lives up to the expectations and delivers
what V-S are known for, although we are offered nothing much new in terms of
melodies and arrangements, still all the compositions have a satisfactory
outcome. 'Meherbaan' stands out and is the one to enjoy a certain shelf life,
both the versions. Go..Grab a copy right away!</span></div>
