OMG 2- movie - My View Point !!
There is a thought provoking scene in the movie where Akshay Kumar ( playing Lord Shiva) tells Pankaj Tripathi pointing towards a mother feeding her baby on a railway station- he says “ What do you see there, ek ‘Nirvastra Maa’ ya ek ‘bhookha bachcha’.. ‘ Har wo kaam jo chupa ke kiya jaaye Galat Nahi hota’..Writer and Director Amit Rai makes it abundantly clear that he’s going to let his characters talk in a manner that is understandable to everyone leave apart anything subtle or nuanced.
I went into the movie with all sorts of doubt, previous OMG happened in 2012 and India today of 2023 is vastly different, also It took me a while to accept where the movie was heading to the fact that this was a film which was taking up such Bold issues and start a movement which seldom any mainstream commercial cinema has attempted till date– talking up the vital importance of sex education amongst school-going children, and even more importantly, taking the shame away from such discussions, so seriously that it would get into severely explanatory mode with all the audacity and break the shackles between between the 2 generations of parents and teenager’s.India is highly populated, which means that people are partaking in intercourse irrespective of their religious beliefs. However, when it comes to talking about every aspect of it in an educational way, it is treated as something taboo. There is one scene where Kanti puts forth that when it comes to name the reproductive organs of male/female's we tend to hide the actual name and use instead 'Nunni', 'Punni', 'Shame Shame' .. it makes one question themselves ..Why?
I know there is a part of our population who would thrash the movie for being so Direct and Bold on things we shy away to discuss in our families and it's ironic and pains my heart that the film is granted an A certificate when the crackling film must be a necessary watch for kids and teenagers which questions the lack of faith ignorant adults repose in our young people as they explore the mysteries of their bodies with natural curiosity and frankness. It's an eye opener and the need of the hour for the nation with the audacity with which it deals such a sensitive subject which no other mainstream director would even dare to think of.
Go and Watch this brave attempt which puts a question mark on our so-called society stigma and norms of being silent on such issues, although the movie feels disjointed and a bit too stretched towards the climax and the courtroom scenes sometimes fall flat with the pauses between dialogues being far too long. But all said and done this has the power to start a movement on 'Sex Education' if not today then certainly few years down the lane.

Ghoomer Movie title song review
Amit Trivedi has had a silent past few years in Bollywood whilst he was established as the next A.R.Rahman back in 2009..
His music never grabs immediate attention unlike Pritam who caters to the masses, #ghoomertitletrack is on the same lines which at the very first hear will sound quite ordinary but as you dwell deep into it you realise how artistically the song has been composed keeping in mind the theme and crux of the movie.
Next sports anthem?? Anyone??

Gadar 2- Movie-My synopsis pre-release
There is some nice buzz around #gadar2 that a storm is waiting to explode at the box-office on the shoulders of #patriotrism #antipakistan #independenceday and a long weekend.
Considering the high-volume patriotic drama that it promises to offer, it is possible that Gadar2:The Katha Continues will do as well — maybe even better — than the original aiming at the single screens and #sunnydeol #paisavasool lines like 2 decades before. But the India in which the latter was released is very different from the India of today.
Back then, it was possible for #Gadar, to bask in the success of loud #jingoism and #nationalistic packaging and its core, a love story in which a man is willing to leave behind his #mitti and #mazhab to be with the woman he loves.. but now the young “Gen-Z” wants a sensible cinema, they want something out of the box, something creative with brush of strokes that are artistically planned and executed practically.
2023 will not accept #sunnydeol uprooting the handpump in an outburst, too clichéd considering the era of cinema we live in. The Director #AnilSharma sense of cinema is outdated now to say the least, I read him quoting "When people asked me how can it be possible, I told them, 'When Lakshman needed sanjeevani (herb) in Ramayan, Hanuman picked up the entire mountain.' Tara Singh may not be Hanuman but he can uproot a hand pump. We believe (in Hanuman's deeds) as we are emotionally involved. It (the scene) was a creative liberty we took, and every person sitting in the theatre watching Gadar Ek Prem Katha related with the emotions and clapped for the sequence. Many intellectuals do not understand this as they believe in working on logic alone.
Lets have a look at his chronology as a Director- "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (superhit-2001), the Hero: Love Story of a Spy-flop (2003), Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo (flop- 2004), Apne(average-2007), Veer (terrible-2010), Singh Saab the Great ( average-2013), Genius (terrible-2018) and now #Gadar2 in 2023- It would completely be a Sunny Deol vehicle that a section of the audience will enjoy. The clap worthy dialogue, the raw appeal, the undercurrent of emotions and of course, the dhaai kilo ka haath should appeal to those who relish desi fares, especially the single screen audience’s..
The soundtrack is below average something we don’t expect from the stature of someone like #Mithoon, the lyrics are way too normal like we use in our day-to-day conversations.. only #Khairiyat to some extent sounds bearable.. Re-creation of #mainniklagaddileke and #uddjakaalekaava is sure to get the limelight consider the icon tag attached to both the songs, special mention to #uddjakaalekaava ( climax version ) which is sure to get lots of whistles, hootings and goosebumps once it is being played on the big screen..

Pathaan- My View Point ! Jan-2023- Movie Review
Remember Siddharth Anand's last 2 ventures- " Bang Bang "(2014) and " War "(2019), mix of action-style-good looks-hotness-chiselled six pack abs body-fabulous music, Pathaan lands straight away in that very genre with lots of Boom Boom and Bam Bam.
John Abraham has never looked so sexy and rich as here and he walks hand in hand with the maestro SRK star power. Deepika Padukone oomph’s up the hotness quotient to another level with some stellar looks and dance moves in "Besharam Rang"- the only song in the movie which is a great change as far as masala entertainers are concerned.
The Good- Super Vfx with Hollywood class action stuff, no forced love angles, no mushy love tracks, no kisses here and there, no cheesy lines, the dialogues are the real star with some solid punch lines that deserves an applause every time. A brilliant post interval sequence with our very own "Tiger" - The Salman Khan and a super chemistry between both of them.
The bad- Keep your brains at home storyline and treatment, some death defying mission impossible's which they made it look like mickey mouse stuff, some unnecessary over the top chase sequences and forcefully induced deshbhakti.
Overall, a good paisa wasool popcorn munching nail biting entertainer without a dull moment in it. Blockbuster material!!
